Terahertz waveguide-based pulse-shaper system analysis and modeling

In this paper, the transfer function (TF) of a passive waveguide-based terahertz (THz) pulse shaper is calculated using time domain data provided by full-wave simulation structure. The fractional order TF determined based on response resulting from an arbitrary excitation proposed shaper. Full-wave electromagnetic numerical analyses are applied to attain time-domain output helical gold-ribbon dielectric-lined waveguide as To verify results, device has been examined two different methods including Finite Element Method (FEM) and Integral Technique (FIT). A good agreement was found between results FIT FEM. use system analyze structure preferable due execution savings. Once determined, one could apply it subsequent with various inputs.
